The 50+ Category – Where Legends Return to the Court

This year marks a truly special milestone for MAMT Volleyball – the introduction of our dedicated 50+ category, celebrating the pioneers, mentors, and legends who laid the foundations for the game we love today.

For the first time, our senior players will step back onto the court to compete alongside their peers in a friendly yet fiercely spirited mini-tournament. It’s a chance to relive old rivalries, create new memories, and show that true skill and passion never fade – they only get better with age.

🏐 Introducing the 50+ Teams

This year, MAMT Volleyball 2025 proudly welcomes a brand-new chapter in its legacy — the Seniors (50+) Category. A celebration of our community’s pioneers, this special tournament honours the legends who built the foundation of our game and continue to inspire generations today.

Experience, composure, and a touch of flair — these players may have more years under their belt, but they still carry the same fire, skill, and competitive spirit that defined MAMT from the very beginning. As we say… the legends never retired, they just needed more chai! ☕

We are honoured to host teams from across our Jamaats:

• Hyderi (South London) – the hosts bringing passion, energy, and home-court pride.
• Birmingham – veterans of the sport, returning to show that class is permanent.
• Stanmore – a team blending experience and precision, joined by high-level players from Leicester to complete their squad.

Together, these teams represent more than just competition — they represent legacy, brotherhood, and the enduring love of the game that unites our community.
